The Townof Clover Parks and Recreation Department is currently accepting applications for the position of Special Events Coordinator. Under limited supervision, candidate must be physically and mentally capable of planning, coordinating, and implementing all aspects of festivals and community events that will effectively meet the needs of the Town of Clover citizens of all ages. Duties include oversight of Gallery 120 art gallery, assisting other organizations with Town co-sponsored events, and marketing of recreational activities and programs. Candidates must possess the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; prepare and maintain department information, provide excellent customer service relationships with internal and external customers, and related work as apparent or assigned.

Position requires an Associate’s degree or better in Hospitality and Tourism Management, or related field, supplemented by a minimum of one to two years’ experience in a job-related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
