York County Ag + Art Tour

Visit these Clover area locations for the York County Ag + Art Tour June 9th & 10th!!

A small working farm with beef cattle being our main income along with raising free range chickens eggs, hay and pumpkins. Three years ago, we began farm agritourism.  During 6 weeks in the fall, we opened our farm to schools and do educational farm tours which includes 5 educational stations. We also raise alpacas and use their fiber to make yarn and clothing items.  We have a lesson for our farm tours we call "From Fleece to Fiber" in which we demonstrate how we make yarn including the use of spinning wheels and looms.  We also would like to show case our Wood Miser sawmill.  All buildings on the farm, (with the exception of the original red barn and the old milking parlor) have been built by Doc using wood from the farm and the Wood Miser sawmill.

  • Spinning and Weaving Demonstration:  12:00 PM and 3:00 PM
  • Self-guided barn yard animal tour featuring alpacas, cows, chickens, horses, goats, turkeys, sheep, peacocks and more:  On-going 
  • Children's play area:  9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Hayride: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM   (2 and under free, $3.00 all others)

  • Red Hill Forge, Blacksmith, demonstrations on-going and at 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM
  • Window Blessings, personalized and distressed vintage windows
  • L.B. Smith Photography, Wooden coasters, pendants, wine glass charms, stationery items, limited-edition prints all made by me and featuring my personal local photographs
  • The Barefoot Weaver, dyer, demonstration of weaving on a floor loom, sales of hand-woven goods, hand-dyed scarves
  • Vanessa's Divine Creations, homemade jams, jellies, sweet and savory preserves

We welcome all to experience our 60-acre Certified Tree Farm that contains a mushroom laying yard, certified wildlife habitat, honey bees, gardens, walking trails, fishing pond, geocaching, and more. Sustainably grown, GAP Certified products include mushrooms, pure honey, herbs, vegetables, fruits, and edible flowers.

We are offering many children’s activities through guest booths including York County 4-H and RideAbility.  You can also fish in stocked pond for free (catch and release only with single hook. Bring your own pole and bait), geocache, and disc-golf (Bring your own discs).

  • Piedmont Music Therapy, We'll have lots of instruments to explore plus be available to answer questions about music therapy and adapted music instruction for children and adults. There'll be ribbon rings available for purchase, too. We'll raffle a basket of music related treats to one of our booth's visitors.

A family owned and operated farm that produces a variety of fruits and vegetables including peaches, blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, corn, zucchini, squash, tomatoes, and much more. Bring the whole family and enjoy a fun-filled day! We have picnic tables, rocking chairs, swings, a sandbox, a tunnel slide, a hiking trail, an observation bee hive...and don’t leave without getting some ice cream!

Special Activities

  • Pick your own blueberries, blackberries, and peaches (depending on availability)
  • Take a self-guided tour of our farm via our hiking trail

Come and see the exterior of one of the older homes in the Clover area, built between 1860 and 1880, a restored, reclaimed log cabin rebuilt as a country store called "The Cabin," and other period buildings including a smokehouse and a blacksmith forge. "The Cabin Country Store" will be open to purchase our farm-raised meats, seasonal produce, farm made soap, fresh eggs, honey, and local handcrafted items. Kids will love viewing all of our farm animals!
