Water Line Break July 11, 2019
Posted Date:
7/11/2019
The main water line serving the Town of Clover ruptured at Hwy 321 N around 2:45pm on Thursday, July 11, 2019.
Update 7/11/19 3:50pm.
Water service will need to be SHUT OFF in order for the ruptured section of line to be replaced to be made. The Town's water tanks are capable of providing water but customers may experience low water pressure until the repairs are made and water pressure is restored. Water service is expected to be fully restored by 8pm tonight. Customers are urged to CONSERVE WATER until water service is returned. At this time there is no reason to believe that harmful contaminants have gotten into the water system but customers may choose to BOIL WATER as a safety precaution.

Update 7/12/19 8:30am
The section of line was repaired and water restored at approximately 7:30pm on July 11.  Samples taken last evening indicated that chlorine levels remained in the acceptable range and there was never a complete loss of pressure/water. Additional testing will be done today with results to be provided within 48 hours.
