VITA volunteers are IRS certified and trained by the SC and NC Dept of Revenue. Returns will be filed electronically and the estimated turn-around time for a direct-deposited refund is 7 days. VITA will be at the Clover Public Library, 107 Knox Street, from 10am to 12:30pm, every Saturday in February. Call United Way’s 2-1-1 helpline for VITA assistance offered at other locations.
What to bring: Current year’s tax forms (W-2 and 1099’s); information regarding other income; information for all deductions/credits; copy of last year’s tax return; voided check (for direct deposit); social security or individual taxpayer identification cards; and proof of identification. All tax information received is strictly confidential and will not be discloses to unauthorized individuals.
