The Administration department has jurisdiction over matters relating to budgets, accounting, auditing, disbursement of Town funds, franchises, licensing, alternative revenue and taxation matters, capital improvements and efficiency of municipal operations.
In addition, Administration staff members also apply for grant funds, manage the public documents, coordinate special projects, issue business licenses, collect hospitality tax fees, register dogs, issue yard sale permits, and manage the administrative functions of the Town's water/sewer utility.
Town Administrator
Allison Harvey is the chief administrative officer of the Town and, as such, provides staff assistance to the Town Council, makes policy recommendations, acts as an adviser and information resource, carries out Town Council directives and policies, and supervises and coordinates the efforts of Town departments.
The Town Treasurer is the chief financial officer and is responsible for all Town accounting records, the yearly financial audit, investments, payroll, personnel, accounts payable, assisting with the yearly Budget Process, water/sewer account management, and water billing.
