The Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) is comprised of five (5) residents appointed by the Town Council for three-year terms. The BZA decides zoning cases brought by property owners who are aggrieved by the Town’s zoning ordinance or by decisions made by planning staff.

Meetings
The Board of Zoning Appeals will meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:00pm at the Clover Community Center, 120 Bethel Street, if needed, to hear a case or conduct other business. Appeal from Action of Zoning Official and Variance Applications are due six (6) weeks prior to the Meeting Date.
All meetings are open to the public. The Town is committed to creating an environment in which facilities for public meetings are accessible. The Community Center is accessible to the disabled. Residents needing another type of reasonable accommodation to attend the meeting should contact Kristy Doss at (803) 222-9495 at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting to make arrangements.
